Welcome to Wagrein!

Guys I’m so excited! Yesterday I flew to Salzburg, Austria, to visit my friend Karina. This is my first day here and I’ve been wandering around Wagrein to discover this cute little town.

But first things first: yesterday I went on a plane and a bus and train to a different country all by myself. I’m so proud of myself for doing this all alone! I was so scared and thought I could never do it. But I did it and survived and arrived in Wagrein! And it such a beautiful place. I’ve never seen snowy mountains before and last night, when I arrived it was complete dark. So this morning I woke up with the most wonderful view! Snowy mountains and sunshine is the perfect combination of a perfect holiday! And today I wandered around Wagrein to see what they’ve got. And even though it’s not much, it is a very beautiful cute little town somewhere in the mountains.

And well, take a look yourself at how beautiful Wagrein is!

I hope in the next few days I can update you guys more about my first time winter sport holiday and the beautiful mountains, the food and everything else!

Do you know a place where I should go somewhere around Wagrein? Let me know in the comments below!

What's in My Bag?

I was eating in a snackbar with friends. And then this friend of mine (a guy) accidentally kicks my bag and it topples over. And EVERYTHING fell out. Not only lipgloss, deodorant, candy wrappers but also TWO tampons… of course we laughed when it happened. But it also occurred to me that my bag is always messy. So after this happened I thought, I might need to clean out this bag and make sure tampons can’t just roll out of it anymore.

I held my bag upside down and all this fell out. And I had seen ‘what’s in my bag’ posts on many blogs and Youtube channels before and I thought, this is the right time to do it. So here is my bag and everything in it.

So clockwise from the candy wrappers and bills upper left:

~ Candy wrappers and bills : I took out most of them and threw them away…
~ Vue movie tickets (pitch perfect and the greatest showman)
~ Pink powerbank
~ Babylips lip balm
~ Blue mirror with hearts and pink hair band
~ Gloves
~ Wallet
~ Spectacle case
~ Umbrella
~ Socks ?!
~ Pens
~ Painkillers
~ Earbuds
~ Flormar lipgloss
~ Dove deodorant
~ Tampons (they always roll out of my bag at unwanted moments)
~ Tissues
~ School cookie (Left over from work)
~ LipAddict lipgloss
~ Mandarin (also left over from work)

That’s all what’s in my bag.

PS: sorry for the blurry picture. I'm trying out a new blogger template and it turns out this picture is really bad for this template. I'm still figuring things out, sorry....

Movie Rant: Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Yesterday my friend and I went to the cinema. And when we had found our seats, we noticed there was no music playing. Normally it always does. And 15 minutes later a lady comes in and tells us they have troubles with starting the movie. After a few minutes they fixed it and kindly skipped all the advertisement and the movie begun. And so begins this rant instead of a review. Because I don't know how to review this movie because of all the feels it gave me...

Photo by Georgia Vagim on Unsplash

We hadn’t seen the trailer of this movie or heard anything about this movie. I only read that it had won a few Golden Globes: Best Motion Picture - drama, Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture, Best Screenplay - Motion Picture. I guess that’s all of it.

So we went in completely open to everything this movie could be and it was completely weird. This movie is crazy. The feelings this movie gives you are unreal. You even love the biggest asshole because you just feel for them. The lifes of all these people are ruined. Whether that is by the loss of a daughter, a sickness or someone who is a mamaboy e.g. my mom says....

You get introduced to these character and immediately feel hate towards a few of them and love for the others. But later, as the movie goes on it’s so confusing. So corrupt, so bad and so good.

At one point I was literally sobbing when the billboards were on fire. That scene went right through my heart. It broke to a million pieces. And after that my heart broke again and again for other people. I won’t explain the story because I’m scared I say something wrong. I just say: experience it yourself. But don’t think it’s a fun movie to see. It’s just an amazing piece of art.

There was only one thing that I absolutely didn’t like about the movie and that was the amount of swearing. Sometimes people swear in  movies and that's okay. Not needed but I can see past it. But in this movie literally every sentence had the F-word it in. And although it added to the atmosphere of the movie I just don’t like so much swearing. Me and friend thought that that was one of the bad points of this movie.

And here is a little spoiler so stop reading if you don’t want to read the spoiler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has an open end! And when the screen went black I literally said out loud: nooooo! Why??!
I hate open endings because I keep speculating and thinking about them. Which is the main point of an open ending. But it’s frustrating to me.

What did you think of this movie?

Book Recommendation: Unfiltered by Lily Collins

“The quirky things that make you different are what make you beautiful”

Yes everyone! This book is unfiltered. Lily Collins, a beautiful actress I admire, wrote this book. And I feel like I should share with you how amazing this book is.

Lily isn’t only an actress and model, she is also a writer! This book is about her telling us how she feels, what her struggles are and her pain in her life. She writes about her struggles with food (anorexia) and is not holding back. That’s what I loved the most about this book. It’s like she is in the room with you. You’re reading her story but it’s like she is talking to you from the couch in your living room with a cup of tea in her hand.

I bought this book because I was curious to how her life was. I wanted to know about her life as an actress. To see the real her instead of seeing her portraying characters on the big white screen. But I thought it would be more global. Not as deep as how she goes into telling her story to us.

So this book… It’s raw and honest. She tells about her struggles. How she conquered it and how she lives her live. She gives us her best advice. She gives us letters to read for ourselves and for our loved ones. She tells us how she dealt with bad relationships, how she doesn’t understand things and how she collects weird stuff like tickets to shows, fortune cookies, or whatever she is collecting. It’s like she's telling you: "it’s okay, maybe you think you are alone with your struggles, your weird collections, your pain or a father missing in your life, I’ve been there too. Not only me, but a lot of others too. And here I am writing this too you so you won’t feel alone or weird or sad. Together we are going to fix these problems".

I don’t think you need to ‘know’ Lily Collins to feel related to what she has written. I loved this book and will certainly pick it up more often from my bookshelf if I need some courage to do something or need some cheering up. This book helped me, and I hope and know it will help a lot of other girls and boys around the world too. So I thought, you need to know about this book too. Because I’ve been thinking about it a lot since I’ve read it.

Movie Review: The Greatest Showman

“It’s everything you ever want. It’s everything you ever need”

There is no better way to start off your movie theatre year than with this movie. When the movie starts, it grips you from the first second. The music is so upbeating it’s literally grabbing you and pulling you into the movie. There is no escape possible. The song will be stuck in your head because: THIS IS THE GREATEST SHOW!

This movie is based on the story of P.T. Barnum. This man promised his wife a wonderful life. But he gets fired because the company has gone bankrupt. He feels like this isn’t what he promised his wife and his two beautiful daughters. So he buys a museum and makes it a theatre. And Barnum searches for extraordinary wonderful people. He finds them and creates a show. And the folks LOVE his shows. But the upper class people hate it. And all Barnum wants is being recognised by the rich people. He makes a great show. But it’s never enough. So he climbs higher and higher and in the end there is a downfall. But he met the most wonderful people for his show and they help him getting up after he fell...

The story is amazing! And the songs are fairy tales on their own and are perfect in the movie. They’re so great. The moment I got home after I saw the movie I downloaded the music on Spotify and I’m listening to it, on repeat, of course. I’m so excited about this!!
I love musical movies and this one is amazing. Hugh Jackman singing and the beautiful Zendaya, Michelle Williams, Keala Settle! And what made me childishly happy was that Zac Efron was singing again. I mean, it’s been while since High School Musical. So I couldn’t be happier that he’s in this movie.

This movie is doing the magic right for me, not only with the music and songs, but the costumes and choreography is so perfectly done. It’s a joy for the eyes to see how much work has put in this movie to make it what it is.

And I might have seen this movie twice already! I just love it so much.

Funs and Fails 2017

Two years ago I did a fun and fails post. But I failed to do it last year. So that is a +1 to the failed list. This year, I made a new list of funs and fails. Let’s start with the fails and end with the funs to give this blogpost a happy ending!

Scheduling. It went wrong this year. At the beginning of this year I didn’t know why everything went wrong. Later I understood that I was mentally ill. (Read here) But I’m much better now. I won’t post a blogposts that was made for Easter and published somewhere in June anymore. TWO months after Easter! (Why did I even post it?;) )

Ideas. I’d run out of ideas. And if I had an idea I couldn’t write a freaking blogpost because there was a huge lack of inspiration and originality. But that’s fixed now. I’ve made a huge list full of plans for 2018! Hopefully that it goes better than this year and that I won’t have much writing blocks or back falls.

My USA diary. Only 4 days are published. I just didn’t have the time when I was in the USA. So I never made a diary. While I said I would… Oops.

This blogpost. I wanted to post this on December 31 2017. But I forgot. I was too excited about the party we would have that night. So here is a picture of me and my friends for the fantasie party we had:

Rainbows and unicorns!!

USA blogposts. I wrote four blogposts about the USA. And especially the last photo blogpost I enjoyed making. Looking back on such an amazing trip and meeting such beautiful people was so much fun to look back to. I still get really excited when I think about the trip or when somebody asks me how it was!

Movie reviews: I LOVE to go to the cinema. So I did a few movie reviews. Not as much as I wanted too. And now I also got myself a VUE movie pass. So now I can go the cinema UNLIMITED! So I’m going to watch even more movies than I did this year! YAY!

December blogging: I came back. I finally could write again. Since I tried many times to write a blogpost. But it never worked. And then suddenly I spat out a few blogpost and that feeling was SO good. I mean, something I loved was lost and now I got it back! I can write and love what I write. It’s so good to be back!

It’s a short one this year. Hopefully next year the funs and fails will be a bigger list! But still I enjoyed writing this blogpost and learn hopefully learn and laugh a little bit about the fails and laugh even more about funs!
